Hello all. I’m Tracey M. Cox… wife, mom, writer, children’s book reviewer, friend …just to name a few of my best characteristics. I have been writing since I could hold a crayon and telling stories since I could babble. My papa used to tell me stories almost every night before I fell asleep.

But that’s been quite a while ago. Since then I have ate my vegetable ***and my share of candy, cookies, and get munchies too. shhhh,don’t tell*** , taken my vitamins ***ok, I might have enjoyed biting the heads off of my flintstone vitamins >:^}*** , and unfortunately not gotten very tall ***sweet, yet sassy*** . But one thing I really have done is taken those long ago nights and blossomed them into my writing career. I have been writing since the turn of the century and have a few publishing credits to my name including:

• WeeOnes
• Confetti
• Fandangle
• Kidzwonder
• Fun for Kidz
• Stories for Children
• 2 separate children’s book review columns

The writing road has many misspellings into it that you can trip over and scrub your knee on. BUT if you continue to study the craft, write, and read - and don’t forget about revise!!! – you will notice that there aren’t so many creases in the paper. And the print doesn’t run so badly anymore. Through hard work, determination, and persistence you can find your way towards what ever writing goals you have for yourself.

ME? Well I want to be published. I’ve gotten that already with my magazine credits. But like every other writer out there I want a book. I’ve made another step closer to that too! I have my first picture book coming out. Guardian Angel Publishing will be releasing my ebook into the wild this summer of 2008! My ebook, “Shaping Up the Year”, is aimed at toddlers and helps them identify shapes and colors in normal things that also go with certain days of our calendar year. I can’t wait to see it.
