Is taken from my very backyard…

100 Pecans for Tabitha

“Tabitha loves to make pecan brittle and pecan pie. She is on the hunt to find 100 pecans to make her favorite treats. She looks in the bushes, knocks them out of the trees, and more. Along the way she learns facts about pecans and why her grandmother has the trees in her yard.
Teaches counting by fives, two recipes and educational pecan info. Suggested age range for readers: 1-10.”

Would you like to see the cover?

??? You would???

*\0/* Yay! *\0/*

Well, I won’t keep you waiting. I mean that would make me such a horrible host and I wouldn’t want you to think ill of me.  😉   😉

So without further ado, here’s 100 Pecans for Tabitha:

Book Reviews…. How do authors, illustrators, agents, and editors love you? Let us count the ways.

Yes, WE BOOK REVIEWS! <– Yes, I just shouted that.  😀   Because we do!!!

It’s like a High-5!left_hand.svg.med

stickman-hugging-md
Or a warm, fuzzy hug!

clapping-hands-mdOr a stand “O”!

Now seriously, tell me WHO doesn’t like that???!!!???

As you know, The Children at the Playground has been released into the wild. I’m excited, because a few reviews have begun to come in. Click on the links and see what people are saying about my book:

Reviews help get books noticed. Here is a graphic I found to show you about how book reviews can influence Amazon:

www (dot) Wednesday – LINKY <3!

BLOG-LinkyLoveLinky <3!

Today I’m posting a few places you can find my book, THE CHILDREN AT THE PLAYGROUND!

ONLINE

STORES

I cannot tell you how much it means to be able to find a book not only online, but at a store.

I am a small business. Yes, I am! I am an entrepreneur who markets my ideas and sketchings to agents and editors, and then to stores and the pubic with my books. Needless to say, if you carry my books, I WILL promote your business too. So by all means, if you are close to one of the stores, go there and purchase the book(s), let them know that I sent you. I #SupportSmallBusiness whenever possible.  😀

:::LEAVE ME A COMMENT:::

How do you promote businesses?
Do you shop local?
Do you tell others about them?
Do you let people know how to find a business (online and walking in)?

Until next time…

Tuesday Tips: Use a Book Trailer

BLOG-Use a Book TrailerUse a Book Trailer

I love using book trailers as a teaser to my books. My first six books I used inside artwork to build interest. For The Children at the Playground, I did something new. I put a call out on social media for people who were willing to share picture of their children at the playground.

I loved the pictures I received!!!! I only wish I could have used them all.  😀

So here are somethings to consider when creating a book trailer:

  1. What story or message do you want to convey?
A great trailer will tell a story and leave the viewer wanting more. In other words, they will want to purchase your book or look for it in their library.
  2. What medium do you want to use?
Cover art, inside art, pictures, videos, tie-ins. Different uses will get different peoples attention.
  3. Time frame!
Book trailers (like movie trailers) are great when kept short. You are trying to grab their attention, not put them to sleep. *hahaha*
  4. Acknowledgements
If you use someone’s picture or music, give them credit.
  5. Links
Don’t forget to include YOUR links. Your website, your publishers website, and mention indie booksellers, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million.

So here it is!!!!!! The book trailer for The Children at the Playground!!!!!!

:::LEAVE ME A COMMENT:::

Let me know what you think of the book trailer!
Would you be interested in reading the book now?
What else could I have done to be more interesting?

Until next time…

Happy Writing!
